Kathy Johnson has a home organization company called Kathy Conquers Clutter. She was looking for a redesign of her company's branding material. Originally called R and R Organizing, she felt that the "R and R" did not have a solid enough meaning for what she does. The first thing Kathy needed was a logo and once that was created, a complete redesign of her business cards was done.
Kathy originally had two different business card designs. One card had a blank back and the other had a text-heavy back with no photo. Neither card was what she wanted for the long-term.
In speaking with Kathy, she was most concerned with having a memorable card that would be attractive and cause potential clients to want to know more about her business. Her new cards are printed on 16 pt Silk stock with her new logo and flourish printed in aqua foil. The back of the card carries the aqua from the front and a large photo of Kathy that was extracted from the background of new photo. This is a clear contrast from the photo on her original card which was small, dark and difficult to see. A list of her services and additional contact information round out the content on the back of the card. She now proudly hands out her cards which are certainly show stoppers!
