I've learned a lot over the past two years because of some difficult days but one of the main things I've learned about is Perspective.
One definition of Perspective is: "a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view."
So, when we had to say goodbye to one or our beloved dogs on a Monday and our beautiful Bengal cat the very next day, of course we were (and are) heartbroken. One of the things that gets me through the loss is Perspective. I have to remember that we were blessed with over 12 great years with our dog, Delli, and nearly 18 years with our cat, Hershey.
A shift in the economy and job markets has us in a position where we are needing to downsize our house. We love our house and this is very difficult for us but that's where Perspective comes in again. We are blessed that we have a roof over our heads and we are healthy and together. That helps us get through the rough patches.
There are many of my friends also facing difficult times and are having to look at things differently - with a new Perspective.
So, how does that relate to your business?
J.M Barrie, author of Peter Pan said, "Nothing is really work unless you would rather be doing something else.” Do you love what you do? Do you love showing others what you do? Or....do you need a new perspective?
I LOVE what I do! I love making something from nothing or revising client's identities to help them (and their own clients) fall in love with what they are presenting or representing. Sometimes, a change in Perspective can make all the difference!
