Carey Handley founded Page by Page Graphic Design the first day of 2000 but her affinity for design began in sixth grade when she was inspired to design her elementary school’s first-ever newsletter. “Creative Carey” was conceived, written, designed and distributed by Carey to each classroom in the school.
In 1994, while living in Cairo, Egypt as an expatriate, she ran a support group for new mothers. Combining her love of writing with lifelong creativity, she wrote, designed and distributed a monthly new mother’s publication to other expatriates.
When returning to The States in 1996, she accepted a job as Graphic Designer for a local retail business. After four years of working for this company, she formed her company, working with numerous clients in a variety of industries including real estate, Chambers of Commerce, country clubs, photographers, salons and other individual and corporate businesses. Carey enjoys the challenge of elevating her clients’ collateral materials while retaining their personalities and focus for their businesses through design and professional printing. Utilizing various wholesale and retail printers gives her access to many different types of unique paper types and coatings and helps keep costs low for her clients.
She has won several design awards from industry powerhouse David E. Carter. She is also a published author both stateside and abroad. The most rewarding aspect of her business is seeing the exuberance of her clients when she presents the finished product and hears how great design and professional printing makes a difference in the way her clients are perceived by their customers. She also produces jobs for individuals and has created wedding programs, holiday cards, unique party invitations and personal calling cards and note cards.
